Mindfulness for Kids, Pre-Teens and Teenagers

Our children face a busy world, with many things demanding their attention. The 8-week Mindfulness for Kids programs are tailored to children from 3rd through 5th grade and middle/high school students to allow them to strengthen their ability to be present, learn how to respond rather than react and generate compassion for themselves and others. We invite you to come and learn about these 8-week programs and meet Michelle Moorhead.

FREE INTRO:
Wednesday, to be announced – 6:15 to 7:15 pm – Sign up

Open to all kids, pre-teens, teenagers and parents!

Mindfulness for Kids (3rd – 5th graders)

8 weeks: Wednesdays, 5:30 to 6:30 pm – Sign up
Runs from September 18 to November 13 (Skipping 10/9 Yom Kippur)
$160/$140 if pre-registered by 9/1/2019 – Limited to 10 participants.

Mindfulness for Pre-Teens and Teenagers (6th – 12th graders)

8 weeks: Wednesdays, 6:45 to 7:45 pm – Sign up
Runs from September 18 to November 13 (Skipping 10/9 Yom Kippur)
$160/$140 if pre-registered by 9/1/2019 – Limited to 10 participants.


Kids Yoga

Thursdays, 4:15 to 5:15 pm
4 weeks series starts 10/3

Moms & Dads, did you know your kids can benefit from Yoga, too? That’s right! Among the many benefits of Yoga are boosting self-esteem and confidence, developing focus and concentration, and easing anxiety. PLUS – it is really fun!!! Let their imagination run wild, let them play and experience the beauty of yoga, all while you may attend one of our Community: By Donation* yoga class of your own getting your Zen on.

(This class is appropriate for children ages 5 – 10 years old.)
