DGY MILD: Yoga Stretch
Friday, October 19, 2018 – 6:00 to 8:30 pm
This is a refined Gentle Yoga class intended to be accessible and empowering to all students who can practice mat yoga. Physically this style is slow, initially exploring the beginning sensations of the stretch. With repetitive movement, in and out of the entry stage of the pose, a mindful degree of the pose is achieved, that honors the capacity of each individual”s body.
DGY MEDIUM: Asana: Steady Alignment, Breath and Core.
Saturday, October 20, 2018 – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
You will be guided through a sequence of essential Gentle Yoga postures rooted in alignment, breath and core stability. This is a well-balanced thorough sequence of poses and modifications that are accessible to all students who can practice mat yoga.
DGY STRONG: Prana Glow – Sustain the Pose for Deep Release
Saturday, October 20, 2018 – 2:00 to 5:00 pm
Strong DGY dives into deeper practice, holding poses longer to build energy and stimulate the flow of prana.
DYNAMIC GENTLE YOGA TEACHER TRAINING: Stimulate and Integrate – Prana Power
Sunday, October 21, 2018 – 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
Learn how to guide students to sustain the pose for deep release. You will master the methods and artistry of leading students in extended holdings with safety and compassion.
Meet Rudy Peirce
Rudy Peirce, MA, ERYT-500, has studied and practiced yoga for over 35 years. His passion is guiding self-empowering, mindful, deep-release yoga that is accessible to beginners and inspiring to experienced practitioners.
Certified since 1983, he has been a faculty member, teacher trainer, and mentor at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health, in Lenox. MA since 1988, developing Gentle Yoga programs, Yoga Teacher Training curriculum, Men’s Yoga retreats and advanced teacher training programs.
He teaches regularly on the east coast and in Tuscany.
His popular 4CD set, The Gentle Series, is well-known for supporting a vibrant regular personal practice.
