“Give yourself to the one who already owns your breath and moments.” —Rumi
True meditation entails awakening to and living your enlightened nature in the midst of your everyday life and movements. Join Richard as he shares the ancient nondual yogic teachings through experiential periods that interweave the direct experience of our essential nature as being-awareness into extended periods of BodySensing Hatha Yoga Asana, BreathSensing Pranayama and guided yoga nidra meditation. This is a rarely taught form of yoga that is derived from the ancient tantric teachings of Samkhya-Patañjali, Advaita, and the unqualified nondualism of Kashmir yoga.
This workshop can be taken independently, but also forms an essential building block of the three-part series offered here by Richard.

Meet Richard Miller
In 1983, after decades of searching, Richard met his spiritual mentor, Jean Klein, who introduced him to the direct realization of the nondual teachings as exemplified in the paths of Yoga, Advaita, Kashmir Tantra, Taoism, and Dzogchen. Richard now shares this realization and its integration in daily living through meditative self-inquiry, iRest® Yoga Nidra, tantric-informed movement and breathing, and the nondual presence of being and awareness. Trained as a clinical psychologist, researcher, yogic scholar and teacher, Richard is the founding president of the Integrative Restoration Institute and co-founder of the International Association of Yoga Therapy. He teaches internationally and serves as a consultant researching the iRest Yoga Nidra protocol he’s developed, studying its efficacy on health, healing, wellness, and awakening. Richard is author of Yoga Nidra (Sounds True), and The iRest Program for Healing PTSD (New Harbinger).
Quote by Stephen Cope:
“An encounter with meditation teacher Richard Miller is an encounter you don’t forget. Richard is one of this generation’s most important teachers of nondual wisdom. He reminds us that in our true nature we are already free, enlightened, and awake, and that in any moment we can savor Divine presence.” —Stephen Cope
Quote by a student of Richard’s
“Richard’s teachings are like being handed a “hot fudge sundae with whipped cream, nuts and a cherry—slowly enjoying every spoonful and finding God at the bottom of the bowl.” —Michael Fraser
Quote by Richard
“We meet in the celebration of awareness. Here, all movements of mind, body, senses, and world are recognized as direct pointers that reveal our inherent nature, the mystery that underlies all of life, brings an end to suffering, and awakens us to lasting peace.” —Richard Miller
