We are in the process of potentially rescheduling her visit to late June. Details are not finalized yet and both Erin and we are continuing to monitor the situation.

Bad Yogi: Erin Motz is back at Princeton Yoga

April 4-5, 2020

We start off our Spring with our favorite ‘Bad Yogi’! Princeton Yoga is excited to welcome back ‘Bad Yogi’ Erin Motz. Erin moved to France 5 years ago, so we are thrilled to having her come back and teach at our center!

Erin is a carnivorous, red wine and French cheese-loving, world traveling yoga instructor based in Nice France. Erin is co-Founder of Bad Yogi & voice of real yogis everywhere and the creator of the Perfect Body Yoga Program which is centered around the belief that the “perfect” body is simply the healthiest version of the body you already have.

You won’t hear much Sanskrit in Erin’s workshops but you’ll probably get plenty of corny jokes, she believes yoga is for everyone and invites all good/bad/new/old yogis to come and practice with her. Teaching yoga is one of her greatest pleasures and her energy and joyfulness is infectious.

“I practice to feed my teaching, but I teach to feed my life.” – Erin Motz

Bad Yogi Masterclass

Saturday, April 4, 2020 – 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm – $35

Bad Yogi encourages you to embrace who you are and wherever you are in your practice, whether that’s balancing on your fingertips or still giggling about the awkwardness of Happy Baby Pose. You are ALWAYS exactly where you need to be and have everything you need to reach your goals– both on and off the mat. We’ll chat a little before hand about the Bad Yogi philosophy, and then dive right into a fun, creative, total body balancing flow that delivers a mix of everything. You’ll learn a lot, laugh a lot, and probably even make a few friends while you’re here! Expect to leave feeling confident, energized and refreshed in your practice.

This is friendly for all levels and will have modifications offered.

Better than Wine

 Saturday, April 4, 2020 – 3:00 to 5:00 pm – $45

…alright, at least just as good! This class is like liquid courage: a fluid hip & heart opening flow to gently deepen your backbends & increase your hip mobility so you have the tools you need to go further than you thought you could. We’ll keep an easy pace to savor every moment and shine light on the subtle, often overlooked details in each pose so you can access parts of yourself and your practice that usually stay hidden away. You’ll leave with a sense of ease and freedom so that every home practice you have from here on out is the happiest hour ever.

This is friendly for all levels and will have modifications offered.

50/50 Blend

Sunday, April 5, 2020 – 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm – $45

And no, you bad bad yogi, I don’t mean a merlot & a cab! If you came to my workshops in 2020, you might remember my Yin/Yang workshop which was a 50/50 strength and stretch class. It was so well loved that I wanted to offer it in 2020 with fresh material. Brand new from last year but the same format, we’ll spend the first half of this workshop building strength & mobility in a smart, mindful way, then we’ll settle in for some sweet, stretchy goodness to reward you for all your efforts.

This is friendly for all levels and will have modifications offered.

Pelvic Floor-Play

Sunday, April 5, 2020 – 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm – $45

A core focused workshop, reimagined! In other words, this is NOT going to be full of crunches and planks (though maybe a few!), nor will you sweat your buns off. This will teach you how to work smarter, not harder, with a special focus on the pelvic floor. You’ll learn some of the most effective ways to functionally strengthen your core as well as maintain and restore pelvic floor function. Whether you just want to learn some new, interesting things about your core, you’ve reached a point in life where you have to cross your legs when you sneeze, OR you’ve given birth or hope to in the future, join me here! You CAN have a truly strong core whether you’re super “fit” or not. Plus, we’re all entitled to pee-free fits of laughter 😉

This is friendly for all levels and will have modifications offered.
