Deepen your yoga practice and teaching by enrolling in this new dynamic 300-hour Yoga Alliance approved Advanced Yoga Teacher Training at Princeton Center for Yoga & Health, directed by Jeff Migdow, M.D.
The intention for this training is to invite you to widen and deepen your ability to teach various aspects of yoga practice from a place of presence and awareness in yourself, so that your full potential as a yoga teacher may be realized.
This advanced training will take you in-depth in learning to teach areas such as:
Meditation, Pranayama, Yoga for Trauma Release and PTSD, Yoga Scriptures, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Prana Yoga. We will also explore the deeper aspects of Yoga practice and teaching through the 5 Kosha, Yoga and Purification, Yoga and Ayurveda, and Yogic Anatomy and Physiology. There will be in-depth teaching related to teaching from your intuition, from your authentic self, so that you are able to create a true yogic experience for you and your students as well as learning how to market your teaching practice with clarity and integrity. Jeff will be joined by a dynamic group of advanced Yoga Alliance recognized Lead Trainers with vast experience of teaching yoga and many years’ training teachers with clarity and experiential learning.
This training is for yoga teachers from all disciplines and schools.
Pre-requisite: Completion of a 200-hour teacher training.

Jeff directed and coordinated the Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training program for 7 years and has directed his Prana Yoga Teacher Training the past 22 years at the Open Center in New York City and currently – and since 2014 – in Skillman, New Jersey at the Princeton Center for Yoga & Health. Over the past 40 years he has taught yoga workshops all over the world. With his profound expertise in yoga practice and scriptures and his knowledge of anatomy and physiology, you will experience and learn a truly complete approach to this ancient and profound discipline.
Cindy Beers, MS, ERYT-500. YACEP
Yoga for Mental Health, Ethics & the Business of Yoga
Cindy Beers, founder of Red Head Yoga, creates a place for people of all ages and body types to practice yoga and meditation in a safe, inviting, and authentic environment. Students experience a class which is tailored to the students’ ability, sprinkled with compassion and a touch of laughter that leaves them feeling content and at peace. Cindy’s teachings are informed from her extensive training and life experiences. She spent 18 years in the US Armed Forces and therefore has a special understanding for teaching yoga to veterans, teens, and adults living with anxiety and trauma. Cindy’s work with anxiety culminated in her recently published books, “Mindful Yoga for Teen Anxiety” and “Mindful Yoga for Adult Anxiety” along with her 16 hour and 100 hour teacher trainings on Mindful Yoga for Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, & Stress. After having experienced a near death episode, Cindy views life as a gift and unabashedly lives it with zest, love and quirkiness.
Cindy, 500 E-RYT is a member of Yoga Alliance and the International Association of Yoga Therapist (IAYT). She received her training with Mary Irby of White Crow Yoga who was trained by Thiramoolar’s Therapeutic Ashtanga Yoga in India. She is also trained in: Mindful Yoga Therapy for Veterans, Healing Trauma Through Yoga, Aqua Yoga, Prison Yoga, Yoga and Meditation for Military Sexual Trauma, Sexual Trauma, Y12SR, Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Thai Yoga, Yin Yoga, Biomechanics, Somatics, Egoscue, Chakras, Ayurveda, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Reiki Master, and Body Rolling. She is also an expert on different types of meditations such as Yoga Nidra, Mindfulness, I Am, Vipassana, Body Image, and Third Eye. Cindy practices Transcendental Meditation daily. Michelle Carlino, ERYT-500. YACEP
Chair Yoga- The Seated Practice , Yoga for Vitality & Purification
Michelle has been studying various styles of yoga since 1980 and has been teaching since 1987. She is certified in Classical Hatha, Kripalu, Anusara, Christian, Kundalini, Prana Yoga Gentle Yoga, and Yoga for Cardiac/Cancer patients. She worked for many years as a special education teacher, including early intervention and various disabilities through age 11. She has done extensive studies in yoga for special needs populations and has developed yoga programs for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and the Cardiac Outpatient Unit of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Other populations she works with include: fibromyalgia-chronic pain, seniors, brain injury, visually impaired, ptsd, and other challenges. Michelle is certified as a Foot /Hand Reflexologist, Tai Chi Chih instructor, chair massage therapist , Reiki Master level and AFAA Instructor.
Deborah Ketter, ERYT-500. YACEP
Yoga Nidra- A Path to the Present
Deborah Ketter, BFA, YACEP, E-RYT 500, Kripalu 1000, is a certified, advanced Veriditas Labyrinth facilitator, Kripalu Yoga teacher, and artist. She presents nationwide , including Kripalu, North America’s largest yoga training center. Trained in Labyrinth facilitation by Lauren Artress at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco, Deborah also took a course in labyrinth design with master builder Robert Ferre. She builds temporary and permanent labyrinths at hospitals, community centers, schools, and yoga studios, including Princeton Center for Yoga and Health. Deborah has studied Evidence Based Qigong with Master teacher Dr. Yang Yang and enjoys combining traditional yoga postures with the soft circular movements of qigong in a practice she calls Yo-Chi Flow. She is a level one i-Rest Yoga Nidra teacher having studied with Richard Miller PhD. Deborah enjoys offering workshops where she can bring together different meditative practices in a creative way to focus on health and well being.
Adrienne Jamiel, MA, ERYT500, C-IAYT
Yoga Anatomy ~ The Female Form
Adrienne Jamiel, MA, C-IAYT, eRYT-500 is an anatomist, exercise scientist, certified yoga therapist and yoga teacher trainer specializing in the female form. She has spent 25 years documenting evidence-based research on female/male differences in skeletal joint structure and movement patterns while teaching that traditional pose instruction is based upon male skeletal alignment. From 2000–2005, Adrienne was the founding director of Kripalu Center’s 100-hour anatomy and physiology professional level training. In 2005, Adrienne received a fellowship from the NOK Foundation to attend the training “Yoga for Women” at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram (KYM) in Chennai, India. This female-only program was attended by women from four continents and focused on teaching the person not the pose. Adrienne has a full-time private practice in New York City offering yoga, yoga therapy and strength training instruction for women.
Rachel May Morgan, ERYT-500. YACEP
Restorative Yoga, Ayurveda for Teachers
Rachel began her yogic journey as a child, her mother, a transcendental meditation practitioner, being her first teacher. She began teaching in 2000, at the local library where she worked. She was trained at Saraswati River Yoga under the direction of Parvathi Nanda Nath and David Pittenger. Rachel received her Ayurvedic Life Consultancy through The Vedic Institute and Dr. David Frawley. With these two lineages, Rachel works to bring the simplicity out of the complexity, so that everyone is able to access the life changing dynamics of yoga, Tantra & Ayurveda. She continues to study extensively with Parvathi Nanda Nath, and is working toward her Master’s & PhD in Ayurveda with the hopes of focusing on addiction, mental illness & women’s health.
