Teaching At Princeton Yoga This Fall
Local Yoga Center to Host Two Sadie Nardini Workshops (09/15/13)
Sadie Nardini (“The Ultimate Wellness Expert”) international wellness and yoga educator and founder of Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga, is coming to Princeton Center for Yoga & Health (Princeton Yoga) on Sunday, September 15 for two Rock Your Yoga workshops. Sadie will teach students a back-bending, heart opening, and core strengthening practice in Love, Sweat, and Flow from 12:30 to 2:30 pm and a creative and empowering practice designed to get students to think of “the core” in a new way in The Core Strength Transformer from 3 to 5 pm. Attend one workshop for $65, both $120/$100 if paid by August 15.
Participants can expect to experience and learn about the latest alignment, anatomy and creative Core Poses. This special weekend event is for all levels and styles of yoga; both students and teachers alike.
“Princeton Yoga is delighted to continue to bring internationally recognized yoga teachers to our local community,” said Deborah Metzger, owner and director of Princeton Yoga. “Not only is Sadie a vibrant yoga teacher, she’s dynamic and fun – engaging students to make real changes in their yoga practice and in their lives. Sadie has an incredible way of making yoga concepts accessible for yoga students of all levels. This is an opportunity to study with a phenomenal teacher in our very own ‘backyard’ and should not be missed.”
Sadie infuses her teachings with a hip, yet down-to-earth mix of Eastern and Western techniques, pop culture and personal testimonials. Yoga Journal calls her a “star instructor” for her ability to make the concepts of body/mind transformation accessible. Sadie, whose book 21-Day Yoga Body is due out this September, will share her vast health and fitness knowledge with her wonderful sense of humor and magnetic personality.
Princeton Yoga is known for hosting internationally acclaimed yoga educators (as well as local talent) often only accessible and national yoga conferences and retreat centers. It is part of the Center’s mission to offer such experiences at the Orchard Hill Center, its new scenic 5 acre campus – our community’s own little “backyard oasis”.
In October, Jeff Migdow, MD, who teaches at Kripalu Center and the NY Open Center, combines his expertise in yoga with his background as a holistic physician and knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and many healing modalities to offer a truly complete approach to the ancient and profound discipline of yoga with his first visit October 5, 2013.
In December, Leslie Kaminoff will be returning to Princeton Yoga by popular demand. Kaminoff is an internationally recognized yoga educator and specialist with thirty three years’ experience in the fields of yoga and breath anatomy. Kaminoff’s February 2013 visit to Princeton Yoga was sold out – and the yoga center expects the same for his return on December 14, when he will be leading a series of three workshops centered around Exploring Your Breathing Body.
The Center’s new 200 hour professional 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training program with Priti Robyn Ross (who has worked with Dr. Oz and led trainings at the Kripalu Center and the NY Open Center) and Jay Karlinski (also of the Kripalu Center) begins October 18, 2013. It will host the Little Flower Children’s Yoga Teacher Training November 9-10. And – just scheduled – in June, 2014, a training weekend with Master Paulie Zink, founder of Yin Yoga.

MORE: Her own life story is compelling: Sadie Nardini might be a successful yoga instructor and life-stylist now, but it was being struck with a spinal cord illness as a teen that truly rocked her world.
